Co-creation is an iterative process of engaging stakeholders through a variety of methods and tools to collaborate towards a tangible end result. We are following a step-by step and iterative process such as planning the project in the first stage and identifying the community concern; followed by understanding the team, users and the environment; then, imagining the solution to the identified issues, building the prototype solution; reflecting on the lessons learned and so on. All of these co-created processes will lead to the development of an immersive narrative experience or campaign which is an on-site, tangible solution to the the identified community issue.

Since 2016, NTNU IES has been collaborating with several other faculties and had a diverse team of artists, scientists, researchers, designers and architects working on tools related to the concepts of multi-use play spaces, place by design and narrative experiences.
